Families who wish to work Credit Bingos to apply them to your child's registration for the 2010/2011 season, for further credit please contact Donna for available dates and times at 403-288-8300.

BINGO Coordinator

Bow River Bruins Hockey Association

Only at the Timbit Level will the bingo dates be assigned to ALL families by the Bingo Coordinator.

At all other Divisions the TEAM bingo requirements will be assigned by the Bingo Coordinator but Team Managers will administered/managed/assign the volunteers at the team level by the manager  or their team designate. 

If you have children on different teams, in different divisions or playing in the Novice development League (NDL) you will be required to provide each team manager with a $200 a volunteer cheque dated March 1, 2013 made payable to BRBHA.  The cheque(s) will only be cashed if the team manager determines that you did not fulfill your volunteer commitment as outlined at your team parent meeting at the beginning of the season.

All volunteer/bingo questions should first be directed to the Team Manager. If further clarification is required, do not hesitate to contact the coordinator(s) of your division. 

2012/13 BRBHA VOLUNTEER & BINGO POLICY

Volunteer Holdback

Each team must have a volunteer coordinator who is responsible for collecting a $200 deposit cheque (dated March 1 2012) from each family to hold against their volunteer commitment. This person will record what each family has volunteered to do for the team. At season end, once the volunteer commitment has been realised the cheques can be returned. Non complying families will have their cheque cashed by the association.

Bingo

Each team will be allocated one bingo date and must supply

 4 volunteers for that evening. The team will be charged $200 for each volunteer that does not show so please ensure the full commitment shows up. The volunteer coordinator is responsible to ensure these positions are allocated within the team.

Facility Bingos

As a condition of receiving our current ice allocation from the Bowness Sportsplex, we are committed contractually in providing the required volunteers for the Bowness Community Association’s bingo during the hockey season.  In order for the Bowness Sportsplex to continue to operate and stay open, the income from the bingo operation is necessary.

October 15 – March 31 Bingos

Bingos occurring between these dates will be allocated to individual Bow River hockey TEAMS from the Novice to Midget age groups. Each team will be responsible for providing the necessary volunteers (4) for their bingo date.

September 1st - October 14^th & March 1st- June 30^th Bingos

Bingo Exemptions

There are no longer any BINGO EXEMPTIONS in Timbits

ALL Timbit families are required to do one bingo. These bingo dates will be emailed to you.

Bingos are held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 5:00PM to10:00PM at the Bowness Sportsplex and is a smoke free environment

Working Bingos in lieu of Registration Fees

Bingos can be worked in lieu of registration fees only during the period of April 1 – August 31 each year. A $32 credit will be applied for each facility bingo worked during this period over and beyond the required Facility Bingo.
